Freaking out!

I have a tendency of freaking out when we spend a lot of money at one time. I start to panic that we  have made a stupid choice, that we can't afford it, that we will never be able to afford anything, etc. We have a very good handle on our finances. (I think. Or at least I like to tell myself that we do.) It is just that I sometimes don't feel like we do because of our debt: credit cards, car loan and student loans. It makes me panic that we will never be able to buy a house, that we will have to delay major life choices because we won't be able to afford them.

I step back and look around, and I know that I am a blessed person. I need to have a plan, to be focused on how this is all going to work out.

We need to spend money in life. It is to be spent and people are to be treasured. Life is to be experienced. I tell my money what to do, not the other way around.
